9. A town where suicides have decreased (Yutaka Motohashi, "A town where suicides have decreased", Iwanami Shoten) (Let's create a society where people are aware of things) - Escape from the era of "feeling of confinement"

The number of suicides increased rapidly in 1998, exceeding 30,000 per year for 14 years until 2011, and the suicide death rate per 100,000 people (18.9 in 15 years) is twice that of the United States and three times that of the United Kingdom. Become. There is a ``feeling of confinement'' that surrounds them. Let's analyze the cause using intelligent design theory.

I previously compared the brain functions of men and women and proposed that we should borrow the power of women for ``God's creation,'' such as the ``100-year national plan.'' I would like to introduce a book by Hiromi Kawakami, ``Don't be kidnapped by a big bird,'' published by Kodansha, 2016, that backs this up. This is a full-length novel depicting the future of humanity on the brink of extinction.

Surprisingly, it has been designed to dispose of spent nuclear fuel from a major nuclear power plant accident, and even to create artificial intelligence, and children derived from cows and rabbits are produced in factories under the assumption that "cells derived from humans are weak." When he presented the world he was creating in a short story, he thought it would be a great way to develop his thoughts on the world since the Great Earthquake. In order to preserve the species, a story was born that aims to evolve by acquiring new genes. The following author's words represent women.

``Rather than going out and having adventures, I like writing about life inside the house. The characters in this story don't fight. They walk in the forest and feel . Even in a completely different world, humans still have a life." In other words, a woman's whole spirit "has a life even on the brink of extinction." In other words, no matter how chaotic the world is, it has the ability to stabilize it. I'm saying that. This differs from Machiavelli's theory of the state and democracy (for men), which begins with, ``As long as it doesn't cause trouble to others, you can do whatever you want.''

The ``words of pure literature (feminine sensibilities)'' that look at ``life'' with one's feet on the ground, rather than belittle us from the heights of politics, economics, or ideology, gently push us back.

9.1 “Community Sense” Causes “Trouble” to Each Other

- Intelligent design (relationship design)

``168 million children are working in the world, and 200 million adults are not working. Why do children have to work when adults have no jobs?Children work all day long. But their parents are suffering from unemployment. Is this the right thing to do?" These are the words of Kailash Satyarthi from India, who continues to work to eliminate child labor. Isn't this, after all, political and economic poverty?

In ancient Japan, there were many people like Kinjiro Ninomiya, who guided children by preaching the ``reason of things'' in their daily lives. ``Make money through financial operations rather than starting industries'' is the ``man's logic'' of Machiavellian theory. "Let's stop thinking about such stupid ideas and start thinking and working more steadily. Women and children have a life even in times of destruction or crisis. In fact, it is precisely in such a crisis that ``women''... I think we have to leave behind descendants."

These are the words of a woman who is experiencing the "history of life" in real life, while a man repeats the process of "gathering things" and "collecting them." When men have money, they only want to fight wars.

In order to carry out the ``100-year plan for the earth'' and make it a success, as the Pope feared, we need the foundation (preparatory period) for it to ferment. In other words, the ``ability to stabilize'' things and events of ``women'' and ``children and young people'' who carry out the fruits of an ``autonomous decentralized control society'' is essential. The political-bureaucratic community should realize Japan's great achievement of ``middle-classing Japan's 100 million people.'' At the same time as we strengthen the earth's basic productive capacity, we must also strengthen human basic productive capacity.

(1) The globalization of capital and the tragedy of tax havens: the “death” of foolish people

As the globalization of capital progresses around the world, areas with disparities in profits and taxes will naturally emerge. In accordance with economic principles, tax avoidance communities (companies) have recently sprung up and the ruling classes of world political and economic power have joined them, without any sense of guilt. This is the negative collective synchronicity of "collective knowledge" that capitalism and liberal democracy were compatible with. If this kind of "collection" function expands, the synchronization function of autonomous decentralized control will not work. This trend toward ``thorough partial functions'' follows the same process as the collapse of the ``myth of nuclear safety.''

In this world of tax havens and the anti-intellectualism that is the source of the disturbing atmosphere, words, and actions that have begun to pervade the modern world, no one aspires to perfect humanity. It is the "death" of a foolish man.

Don't be fooled by the Japanese corporate entity that only pursues collecting. The reason why large Japanese companies are acquiring foreign ownership one after another is ultimately a failure of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's policy of emphasizing finance over industry. Large corporations have 354 trillion yen in self-retention... Instead of "competing", we must "cooperate" and create new things.

►So what should we do?

The only way to satisfy humanity's desire for collecting, achieve economic growth, and ensure peace is to explore unexplored regions of the earth with potential (e.g., Eurasia, the Heartland, or the African continent). This is the most backward area of ``cooperative development.'' ``Money is what makes the world go round.'' The world's ultra-rich 1% are spending money on this kind of development. This will lead to world peace, and it will be possible to postpone the extinction of humanity. This is the lesson of Kinjiro Ninomiya's ``For the world, for the people.'' There must be "universality" rather than "thorough partial thinking."

9.2 “The true nature of this country’s coldness” - Surviving the era of “self-responsibility” for all citizens

The title is written by Hideki Wada and published by Asahi Shinsho, and Masaru Sato is the reviewer. This is an excellent ``educational book'' that accurately captures the movements of the earth. This book is a must-read for parents with children in elementary school, middle school, high school, and college. Recently, Japanese people have become cruelly cold towards the economically weak, those who have dropped out of competitive society, and children. Japan is currently facing a variety of social problems, including a large number of administrative suicides, the bashing of welfare workers, and an increase in the number of working adults suffering from depression and addiction. I mentioned earlier that there are many Japanese people who say that the voices of children in kindergartens are ``noisy'' and do not allow their neighbors to make noise. This never happened in the past.

(1) The political poverty of “self-responsibility theory”

Hideki Wada analyzes that the cause lies in the American style of ``self-responsibility''. He is also sharp in his reasoning, pointing out that ``Since America has a culture where it is easy to avoid responsibility, it was necessary to deliberately introduce the theory of self-responsibility.'' The idea of self-responsibility was artificially introduced into Japan, which has a strong sense of community, and as a result, society was dismantled from within, and the people of this country became cold. He warns that if this situation continues, Japan will continue to sink. The poverty rate for children is particularly severe, at 16.3%, and is even at a critical level in the education sector. Compared to other countries, unemployment insurance and welfare benefits are low, and Japan has the worst system for raising children and once you are no longer able to work. Despite this, we were able to make it through because during the period of high economic growth, large corporations focused on welfare. Even if children's education costs were incurred, companies have covered the costs through a wage system based on seniority. If the seniority system is to be abolished, the government should naturally pay for education (the lowest among developed countries), but the government does not accept this obligation in the name of self-responsibility.

(2) So what should we do?

During Japan's growing years, most mothers and grandparents stayed at home to discipline and socialize their children. This was a characteristic Japanese social structure that was different from Europe and America. This has made Japan a top-notch country. The world has changed and now we live in a world where women have to go out and work to make a living. What will happen to the child?

``Self-responsibility'' This is also an imitation of the United States, and Japanese people have always had a strong sense of community. For the sake of the world and for the sake of other people, I have lived my life causing trouble and being inconvenienced. Not causing trouble is neither honorable nor just. Let's bring "spirituality" back to old Japan. Don't commit suicide just because you failed.

``Let's imagine the group behavior (group synchrony) of ants, bees, and birds. Then, get into the habit of ``making your own decisions based on the facts.'' Then you will succeed. As shown in Figure 9.1, let's create a new Japanese culture that goes beyond America and Europe. This can be called the spirit of ``mono-aware''.

The election of President Trump marks the end of American internationalism that has continued since the 20th century. The poverty rate for "poor whites" now exceeds that for Asians. Some people say that this is due to job outflow or immigration due to globalization, but the essence is the "enlargement of the money game" of neoliberal policies. Until now, Japan has been following the economic policies of the United States one step behind. It's a good opportunity. Japan should also flexibly change its policies. It is a quiet break from neoliberalism. Then the country will be successful.

``The cause of Japan's failure is that it pandered to the United States and Europe, excluding its own values.''

(3) Conclusion: Prepare for huge changes

``Structural changes'' occurring in all countries of the world. Are the Duterte administration in the Philippines and the protest movement in South Korea bringing about common changes in the world? Isn't this a political reaction (reversal phenomenon) to the large-scale monetary easing measures taken by developed countries after the ``economic upheaval''? This can be expressed from the sensibility of "collective intelligence," which is the knowledge possessed by a collection of biological systems.

Masataka Kosaka said, ``Only those who understand the essence of a complex world can understand the central facts in a simplified manner,'' and I agree with this. As seen in the ``Trump phenomenon,'' it is true that ``never is there more distance between words and the complexity of the situation that needs to be expressed than there is in modern times.'' Expressed in terms of sensitivity and technology, complex adaptive systems are a methodology (intelligent design theory) that captures things as they are, so they have optimal adaptability depending on the situation.

Where does this "feeling of confinement" around the world come from? Financial markets are easily crossing borders, all inequality and poverty are expanding worldwide, and individual morality and national independence are being shaken. I can't get rid of the ``anxiety'' in the back of my mind that any event will exceed a certain threshold and eventually lead to destruction. Anxiety and hatred build ``walls,'' and peace builds ``bridges.'' The ``wall'' in the West Bank and the ``Japan-Korea tunnel'' are symbolic examples of this. We live in an age of globalization where people can't tell the difference. However, the word globalization is losing its value as a slogan. A society that has pursued economy, rationality, and efficiency has made the world "one." In that world, life itself disappears. Dentsu, which has been criticized for the suicide of a female new employee due to overwork, has been recognized by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare as a company that supports child-rearing and is an easy place to work. This is "red tape". The same crops and products can be produced in the same way no matter who does it. As Takeshi Yoro said, I don't think I would spend my life doing something like that.

Don't be fooled by corporate entities that only pursue "collecting".

America's success was not due to technology. It is "management". It was Japan that established ``engineering,'' which combines science and technology. The character ``工'' in ``Engineering'' means a form that ``supports the sky.''
