An interview article with Jim Rogers was published in the Nishinippon Shimbun dated September 18th.
In the interview, he expressed his opinions on the future of the world economy, the Japan-Korea tunnel, and the possibilities of Kyushu.
Regarding the world economy, he
said, ``China also has large debts, and if the next crisis occurs, I think it will be on a scale that we have never experienced in our lifetimes.The US-China friction is one cause for concern.''
Regarding Japan-Korea relations, he said,
``For example, it would be great if we could both work together to advance the idea of a tunnel connecting Japan and South Korea.''
Regarding Kyushu's potential, he said,
``The agricultural sector is the one I am most optimistic about in the world economy.'' ``
I believe there are still opportunities in agriculture.''
He expressed his opinion.
