Last year, the further promotion of "Abenomics" was approved in the general election of the House of Representatives, and we expect that national resilience policies will finally get underway in earnest.
Furthermore, with the Olympics coming up in Korea in three years and Japan in five years, the time has finally come for both Japan and Korea to build infrastructure for peace and prosperity in Asia and the world.
Following Karatsu last year, our foundation excavated the entrance to a research slope in Tsushima, which opened in September.
This year, we will do our best to make the Japan-Korea Tunnel Project a nationwide national movement and a national project for both Japan and South Korea.
