The Nishinippon Shimbun interviews Jim Rogers, revealing his views on the global economy and Japan-Korea relations

An interview with Jim Rogers was published in the September 18th edition of The Nishinippon Shimbun.

In the interview, he shared his views on the future of the global economy, the Japan-Korea Tunnel, and the potential of Kyushu.

 

Regarding the global economy, he said
, "China also has a huge debt, and I think the next crisis will be on a scale we have never experienced in our lifetimes. US-China friction is one of the concerns."

 

Regarding Japan-South Korea relations, he said,
"For example, it would be good if both sides worked together to advance a concept like a tunnel connecting Japan and South Korea."

 

Regarding the potential of Kyushu, he said,
"The agricultural sector is what I am most optimistic about in the global economy," and
"I believe there are still opportunities in agriculture."
