Concrete construction of access road to inclined shaft - Site News September issue

The September issue of the Site Report summarizes the concrete construction work being carried out on the access road to the inclined shaft site as a disaster prevention measure in Tsushima, as well as the visit of inspection teams from Hokkaido, Ishikawa Prefecture, and Aichi Prefecture from August 22nd to 29th.

Those who came to inspect the island said, "I visited for the first time last year and was impressed by the beauty of the natural scenery. We share the same border, so we need to be very careful about how we interact with our neighboring country. I'd like to visit Kamishima next year."

"I've visited the Karatsu inclined shaft site many times, but this is my first time on Tsushima. Tsushima has had connections with the continent and the peninsula since ancient times."

"Tsushima is a site surrounded by magnificent nature, so you really can't understand it until you come and see it for yourself."

The following comments were made.
