On November 30th, a Japan-Korea Tunnel was held in Kumamoto City, sponsored by the Kumamoto Prefectural Council for the Promotion of the Japan-Korea Tunnel, with JR Kyushu's first chairman, Yukitaka Ishii, as the lecturer. The event was reported on Kumamoto Television.
