At the end of last year, Japan-Korea-U.S. relations faced severe challenges amid the Trump whirlwind in the United States and political upheaval in South Korea, but this year I hope to use this crisis as an opportunity to further strengthen Japan-Korea relations.
In addition to further improving the Kyushu inclined tunnel investigation site, the Foundation will expand the national campaign to promote the construction of the Japan-Korea Tunnel nationwide, and will work hard to ensure that the International Highway/Japan-Korea Tunnel Project becomes a national project for both Japan and Korea by 2020.
We would like to ask for your continued guidance and support this year as well.
