Kyushu Liaison Council for the Realization of the Japan-Korea Tunnel publishes a collection of policy recommendations

The Kyushu Liaison Council for the Realization of the Japan-Korea Tunnel has published a collection of policy recommendations looking ahead to Kyushu 10 years from now.

If an undersea tunnel connecting Karatsu in Saga Prefecture and Busan in South Korea is completed, "Kyushu's exchange population will more than double from the current level," and "a new path to prosperity that is not dependent on the Tokyo metropolitan area will be realized," says Professor Kenichi Tsukahara of Kyushu University.
