Cherry trees will be planted along the Aren wellhead again this year (Tsushima), and weeding around the wellhead (Iki)

On February XNUMXth and XNUMXth, cherry trees were planted as a project related to the Tsushima International Highway.This year, XNUMX trees were planted in a park near the prefectural road heading to the Aren Slope site.The cherry blossoms were provided by the courtesy of Yoshiharu Kanazawa, the chairman of the Kanagawa Prefectural Council for the Promotion of the Japan-Korea Tunnel, which started six years ago. Two kinds of were planted.

 

On February XNUMXth and XNUMXth, in Iki, weeding and bamboo cutting work was carried out around the mouth of the Ashibe slope.The approach road XNUMXm from the prefectural road to the wellhead was constructed in April last year, and the opening ceremony was held in August of the same year.Since it used to be pastures and fields, it is the best soil for crop cultivation, so weeds grow quickly.Three people, including Director Shohachi Matsumura, worked on the work and it was in good condition.
