An article about an interview with Jim Rogers by the Washington Times was published in the May 23, 2019 edition of Sekai Nippo.
Rogers said in part of the interview:
While acknowledging that there are significant physical and political obstacles to building a tunnel, he pointed out that if a Japan-Korea tunnel is completed, it would open up a land transportation route from Japan to Europe, saying, "Imagine a railway and road connecting North Korea through Russia to Paris and Rome."
